How to set wallpaper on Android using Termux 2022 - Devil

Hi, today in this article we are going to see how to set your smartphone wallpaper using your Termux apps.

What is wallpaper in smartphone ?

The first thing you see in your mobile screen is wallpaper, behind all apps in your home screen. These images are preloaded images you can easily able to change them and set your favourite image on wallpaper.

For setting wallpaper on your smartphone using Termux just follow below steps carefully :

Tool Name: Wanda

• Bash script is used to make this tool.

For Installation:

• First, Install Termux
• Second, Install Termux-api

Now follow commands:

$ termux-setup-storage 

To give permission to your termux application to access your internal storage of your smartphone.

$ git clone https://github.com/ksyko/wanda.git

$ cd wanda

$ mkdir -p downloads/cropped

Usuage:

$ bash wanda.sh 

Everytime you enter above command it change your android wallpaper, you see above pic it download picture from unsplash website which is free Images provider.

$ bash ui.sh

Choose which thing you want to do in above Images.

Automate

You can also set intervals, after which it automatically change wallpapers after some period of time.

To do it follow below commands:

Install

$ pkg in cronie termux 

$ nano sv-enable crond

Edit crontab

$ crontab -e

Set your desired interval:

***** is like minutes, hour, day, month, day.

for autocrop set it from False to True.

ctrl+o to save

ctrl+x to exit the editor
